Can I or Should I overclock fx 8320e 8cores on this motherboard which has 4+1 power phase? Is it worth it?

Solution

Actually, I should have spelled it heatsink. It is the finned affair that sits on the VRMs (Mosfets: power transistors). They get very hot as the vcore in increased. The heatsink provides additional cooling. That board recieved an OK for OC'ing at this site, but warned of possible throttling: http://www.overclock.net/t/946407/amd-motherboards-vrm-info-database
You can see the graphs better here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1a8k1fAzGnSNQGsMJi4Rl22RRdG_4ni98heLTM_SxNGQ/pub?gid=3#

If you are in doubt, don't...

If you are in doubt, don't raise the vcore. Just increase the multi until it becomes unstable. Then back off a click and live with that. There may be some dynamic vcore increase, but nothing like manually raising it.

OC'ing purists are pretty hard to please. That's probably why they don't approve. I can only tell you what I would do. The final decision is up to you. Anytime you OC any board, you do so at your own risk. No matter how high end the board is. Same goes for the processor.
