Hey, i'm a noob when comes to customizing computers and i could use some advice.

I bought a Gigabye G1 gaming geforce GTX 960 graphics card and i installed it into a pci slot in my Asus p8h67-m pro/csm motherboard running windows 7 home premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel (R) core (TM) i7-2600k CPU @ 3.40 GHz (8 CPUs) `3.4GHz
And i connect it to Antec VP450 power supply

after putting the card in I plug the power back up start the PC put in the provided cd and it runs though until it gets to Nvidia installer where it does a system check and comes up with this. "Nvidia installer cannot continue. This Nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."

That's as far as get. I've tried disabling the on board graphics and i tried installing drivers directly from Nvidia's website still won't work. when i look in the device manager i only see the Intel (R) HD graphics 3000 under display adapters.

Is this graphics card not compatible with what i have? Or am i doing something wrong?
