Is this system still ok? Is the B85M motherboard still viable?

My Acer M7720 (i7 -920) PC just died recently and I'm going to need to build a new PC. I'm salvaging the old chassis, hard drives, PSU (it's still new, a Thermaltake SMART 630w), and the old Acer monitor. Other than that, it will be from scratch. From my old thread, asking for suggestions on what I will need for a system that is a little future proof but not too expensive, this was the result:

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2306452/building-4460-system-scratch.html#14317098

CPU: i5 4460 or something better if it's on sale.

Motherboard: AsRock B85M-HDS. This might be out of stock, would a MSI B85M Gaming motherboard do?

Graphics card: the R9 270x wasn't available so I went with a GTX960.

Memory: 8GB GSkill.

Old stuff:

PSU: Thermaltake SMART 630w

Hard Drive: 2x 500MB (I think)

Monitor: Acer X233H

I'm just going to play World of Warcraft, League of Legends, DOTA2, and CS:GO. I'm not going to overclock or SLI or Crossfire either.

Thanks!

Now I would be looking at a current gen i5 build. The i5 4460 is still a decent CPU, but the platform is discontinued.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($198.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($69.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill Aegis 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($35.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $304.86
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Thank you for your help!

Would this motherboard do? It's an MSI B150M-Pro-VH and is the lowest priced among the group from the vendor I'm planning to buy from. I think it has the spces I need without the frills that I might not be using. I hope you don't mind, I'm getting dizzy from all the searches and comparisons.
http://pcx.com.ph/product/components/msi-b150m-pro-vh

Alternate motherboard options from the same store are:

MSI B150M Nightelf
http://pcx.com.ph/product/components/msi-b150m-night-elf-motherboard

Asus B150M-A
http://pcx.com.ph/product/components/asus-b150m-motherboard

By the way, I'm not from the USA but from the Philippines and I plan to buy from a store and have them put the parts together and (hopefully) make it work. All suggestions are accepted, even if not in the store list. I need an idea of what to look for.

Anyway, the B85M system is still under consideration because it's still availabe here and there's a ~10% difference in price. There's this comparison chart between i5 4460 and i5 6500 that makes me lean towards getting the older, and cheaper, system:

That first board would work, but the Nightelf board is better, specs wise. It has more ram slots, better audio and ethernet/lan connection. The problem with the 4460, is you are limited to 4th gen hardware, upgrade wise, meaning you wouldn't be able to go beyond an i7 4790k. B150 boards should see at least one more generation of CPU's, as the current gen is the first round.

I guess it's a choice between the B150M Nightelf and B150M Pro-VH.

The "USB 3.0 20pin male" pin-out is universal, right? It should work with a motherboard with USB 3.1? I just bought a USB 3.0 front panel floppy bay expansion to use with my old chassis, which does not have USB 3.0 ports. I'm also planning to get a back panel version, to take advantage of the 4 USB 3.1 slots that the motherboards provide. Internet searches doesn't provide links to anywhere that say it outright. The top links just end in Wikipedia, which seems to describe the pin-out of the plug itself.

Here's the almost final build:

Intel i5 6600
MSI B150M Night Elf

Kingston HyperX Fury Black DDR4 2133MHz , instead of G.Skill Aegis DDR4 2133MHz . I think the two memories are similar in performance, Kingston is the only brand with 2133MHz available at the store. G.Skill RipJaws V (2400MHz) is the only G.Skill DDR4 memory available at the store and they come in 16GB size.

Partpicker link for convenience: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/8fgHGf

I think there won't be any problems if I use these parts, did I miss anything? Thank you.

Added: I just noticed the Partpicker has a compatibility check function. Wow, that's very convenient. According to Partpicker, my build doesn't have any issues. It looks like a "go".

Final Comment: DDR4 2400 and 2133 are priced the same at the store. I bought the DDR4 2400 instead.
