Which One is better?
The 980 Ti (Zotac Amp Omega~390€) It's 80 euros cheaper than the cheapest 1070 (EVGA FTW~470€) I could find.
Is the extra money worth it, If the answer is yes, why?

they were about equal. but 1070 will have extra 2GB more VRAM than 980Ti. and probably will also fare better in DX12 title using Async because of dynamic load balancing that has been introduced with Pascal architecture.
