Burning smell probably psu

hello i have this burning smell when i play games and yesterday was playing no man sky poof u know it just shut it self down now im going to my friends house tommorow he has alot of experience with computers now im not sure im probably doing something risky but i need my computer for working now im just using microsoft words and the internet sometimes i still smell the psu but is there a chance i can wreck it even more if so please let me know

Stop using and unplug.

Burning smells and electronics together do not end well.

Something is getting hot and will only get hotter. And yes the computer could be wrecked. And worse if a real fire gets started.

Your computer will need to be opened up and carefully inspected.

Do not use it.
