Best graphics card for under £150?

Hello all,

I have recently been on the hunt for a brand new graphics card for the build that I am working on. I currently have around 150 pound to work with.

I have been looking at a number of cards like the Amd R9 380, RX 470, GTX 960/950 but I can't figure out what card would be the best for my budget. Iv'e looked at a lot of benchmarks of these cards and Iv'e seen how well the RX 470 performs. However, it is out of my price range.

What card would you suggest for around 150 pound to play some of the latest games at 1080p and have good framerates?

I'm probably going to go with the RX 470. I was doing some searching and the cheapest I've found is £169.99; 20 pounds above my original budget.

I'm probably just going to shell out a little more to get it as it's the best performing card from the selection.

The 380 is far stronger than the RX 460 mate.
Sub £150 the best choice 100%.


Your problem is now that the RXcards are released & the 380 is discontinued you won't get one for your budget.

A month ago a 4gb model was £138 , now they're £180+ !!

Downright crappy but that's the way it is.
