So i have had some problems running Battlefield 4 lately with low fps, and i was wondering if my computer will run Battlefield 1 when that comes out.

If it is something in my pc i need to upgrade just REPLY to my thread :)

If you can run battlefield with your pc? Yes you can you, maybe turn down and tweak some settings here and there. Even though the Pascal series is out, 970 is still a very powerful card mate, you're good to go!

If you have a 60hz monitor then you only need 60 fps as you wont be able to see the rest. A new processor, maybe yes. Are you on a budget? If so go for the i5 6600k, legit stuff right there. If not then i would suggest purchasing a skylake i7. But hey feel free to test it out first before buying anything as we have evidence that shows your rig can run bf1 on ULTRA! It can be that bf1 is optimized better than bf4? We'll never know. Don't stress it out too much :D

Yes by buying a better processor means you would have to get a new mobo since the 1150 socket is kinda dead since 2 years ago. You have no options with your current socket man. That's why if I were you, I would rather wait and play bf1 first rather than buying a new processor and it turned out that your 4690 can get the job done. And meh I'm too busy for games man I'm just a lurker here in toms hardware! LOL :D
