And can I use a old router or is there soemthing on the market, that can detect wireless signal and convert to ethernal cable?

Looking for good wifi connection to play realtime games? What is good?
I bought gaming pc, and I am looking to get wifi through signal and not cable. So what is the best option. My budget is under £10, so what can I do?

if you are looking for something that will have next to no lag then the only way to go would be a wired connection. old routers support the older and slow wireless bands like wireless 802.11bb. the best you could do with a wireless connection would be to get a good card and mode that supports the wirelesss 802.11ac standard

i don't think so. it says its a generic brand but the pic looks like its a counterfeit D-Link wifi adapter. also just to let you know that is a PCI card not PCI-Express
