Parts:
MSI 990 fxa motherboard
Amd 8350 processor
Gtx 670
32 gb ddr3
600 watt power supply
Corsair h80i v2 cooler
Patriot 480gb ssd

Just like the title says, I am doing my first ground up build, and am running into some issues.

I encountered the stickied guide, and took my whole rig apart, and started over, pressing firmly on each cable to ensure a good connection, as well as watching for any screws, debri or cable coming in contact with boards.

When this didn't work, I tried bread boarding. The only problem is that i have not received a single beep code.

Most of the time the machine will turn on and turn off immediately, refusing to power on again until the power cord has been removed and pay switched off, then hooked back together, while other times it will stay on for a full ten seconds, and occasionally indefinitely, but still show nothing on the display.

I have tried everything I can think of, and am generally just getting frustrated at this point. I have remounted and repasted the processor, I have tried with each stick of ram in every slot (alternating) and even tried resetting the CMOS.

Any help you could give would be extremely welcome, as I'm starting to fear bad parts

Power supply is a thermal take 600w tr2.

The power supply has an 8pin connector, rather than two hours

Yeah, sorry. I phrased badly what I did with the ram. I tried each stick, on its own, in each slot.

Yes, everything is new except for the Mobo and GPU. The Mobo is from an opened, but new box, and the 670 is from a previous build
