Hey guys, I'm trying to buy a 2nd 1080 so I can SLI @ 4k.
I bought an EVGA ftw (not dt) card. Unfortunately, I am not able to get that card anymore from where I plan on buying from as they are out of stock. Would another manufacturers card work (and obviously just downclock to the slowest card)?
Reason I ask is I know you could do this with earlier cards but now I apparently need an nvidia HB bridge to get full performance etc., so I didn't know if that huge bridge would work with 2 different cards. I bought the 4slot 1.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guy!
