https://www.cybertronpc.com/customkititems.asp?kc=gmrhd950x816bu&group=play&cat=gamers&cc=amdgaming#tab2

Initially I was going to build my own rig, but I stumbled upon this pre-built rig. Currently, the most demanding game I play is Fallout 4, and my overall budget is $800, but cheaper is preferred. This just seems like too good of a deal to pass up. I'm used to playing every game on low settings, so I don't mind if I can't play on ultra on all games. I'm also going to invest on a 1080p monitor in the future.

I have heard rumors of Cybertron using bad and cheap parts, but they list every part and you can upgrade them from the site. I would upgrade to a 600w at least PSU, and a wireless card. I'm sorry if didn't give all the information needed, so just ask if more details are needed.

I would love and appreciate any advice and opinions you guys may have!

I'm trying to let you know of the better options on the market so that you can better assist the needs of posters.
Are you overclocking OP? Seeing as you were considering buying a prebuilt, I wouldn't think so, that's fine.
Go with this.

i looked at the parts, and i agree with the rumors, i cant find that mother board, seems pretty old, they only tell you the brand of the ram, not what it is exactly, that HDD does not have very good reviews, not sure what PSU that is, and i would never cheap out on the PSU cause it can take other parts if it dies.

I would build one, you can get way better parts and performance that way, is 600 dollars what you want to spend or can you spend more?

Oh man, that is a pretty amazing deal. My only qualms are that the CPU from the Cybertron has 8 cores, and has 16 gigs of RAM. This build isn't too flashy, which I don't mind but is nice extra to have sometimes. Also, on fan description it says ideal for exhaust fans, does that make any substantial difference?

more cores means better multitasking, two cores wont affect it much. If you want more ram i can find some if you want, and for the case, what color do you want, and ill get you flashy. As for the fans ill check on that.

Always been a fan of those red builds haha, also, I am not making a new computer till the end of this month, just doing some preliminary research so I won't make a rash decision. Hopefully that bundle deal is around till then.

Ill find some fans with red LED's and that thing will pop, ive always been a fan of white and red builds, as well as white and blue. Also if that bundle is not there by the end of the month, message me if you want help finding parts.

Yeah, that thing with some red would be pretty sweet :). I would definitely be upgrading RAM sooner than later. Whole lot of difference for 40 bucks. Just curious, what build are you running?

Not at all, even slightly. I wouldn't touch that thing with a 10 foot pole. If you buy this thing over building your own you will be wasting your money. While it may seem like a good idea on the outside look closer - garbage no name PSU, junk case, and outdated CPU. System vendors love to make that the FX-83XX and FX-95XX series seem like a good deal but they really aren't. In reality the FX-8300 is a very poor performer when compared to even the lowest end Intel CPU. The i5-6500 will run circles around that thing. This would be a better bang for your buck:

$50 more but a far wiser use of $700 than that piece of junk will be.

Even still if you're thinking of buying AMD FX right now don't. The FX is a four year old platform on a nearly 10 year old motherboard and on $700 there's just no point in buying it. The i5-6500 is a much better CPU than the FX-8300 and FX-6300. The i5 may seem like more but in reality it really isn't when you put everything together.

They may be old CPU's however, they still perform very well on games, you can easily max games like GTA V or dying light.

The AMD is really that bad? I don't want to spend a heap of money, but I also want quality haha. But I am willing to spend more money, instead of wasting less of it.

If you can spend more than 800, i would go with intel any day.

Yeah there's absolutely no point in buying one right now. The FX-8XXX and FX-6XXX are nearly four years old now. They won't compete in the same league as the current generation Intels. AMD supposedly has a new platform coming this year but I'm not going to say it's going to be any better than the current generation Intel CPUs. If you don't want to spend a lot but want better quality then go for a current generation i5, it will be a million times better. I would say try something like this if you're willing to go up to $800:
