Is P5n-D Sli good for cpu based rendering?
Also can I use two different cards on it? or does it only support two cards in sli only?
Build in mind:
Motherboard: P5n-D Sli - 25$
Chassis: Thermaltake V2 Plus - 40$
HDD: WD 250gb - 10$
CPU: Q9400 - 25$
Total: 100$.
Or I can get a T5400 with e5430, 8gb ram and 250 HDD for 100$
For 25$ more I can add another e5430 to get twice as fast renders but I have had bad experiences with dell so I am leaning towards custom build.
uses:
Premier pro.
3DS max(mentalray).
Old games(2008 maybe?)
