I have issue with this mobo(well, my customer has). Recently i sold this mobo with phenom 2 550 processor and 5gb of ram. It was working fine at me, but guy who bought it from me says mobo makes 1 long and 2 short beeps. He tried reconnecting it, cleaned slots, cleared cmos, checked couple video cards(including mobo integra which worked previously at my house).

He put processor and ram to other pc and they are fine, so whats may cause this issue with mobo? It got damaged during transport or something?

Well if the board worked for you, there is nothing to say if it was just the board it`s self and the customer fitted the board into a system case by them self.

That they may of damaged it due to the installation of it.
A typical example may be that he shorted the motherboard out when fitting it to the motherboard mounting or support plate of the system case.

One long beep and two short ones with a Asus board relates to a problem with the video graphics solution of the motherboard, or a Pci-e based graphics card fitted to the board.

It normally signals that the video hardware could not be detected.

The cause can be as simple though as not connecting the required four or eight pin power from the Psu to the motherboard connector where is is label d 12v E-atx or 12v Eps.

Particularly if a Pci-e card is placed in the Pci-e slot of the motherboard.
Because the four or eight pins of the 12v E-atx or Eps connector provide voltage to the Pci-e card slot of the motherboard from there at about 75w of power.

If you fail to connect it, when you are using a high end graphics card, or a card that also requires a direct feed of power from the Psu of the system via the 12v Pci-e power connectors.

The card fails to be detected due to the lack of voltage provided to the Pci-e card slot of the motherboard from the motherboards power side.

And it produces the 1 long beep and the two short beeps Gazi.

Also some motherboards when first powered up check for a connection from the video card display output ports be it from the on board graphics solution of the motherboard or a Pci-e based card to the monitor or display screen.

If no signal cable is detected, it can also produce 1 long and two short beeps of the bios.
No monitor connected.
