will the price of a gpu, like the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ rx 470 8gb and 4 gb, get lower in the next 6 months or will it increase?

Do gpus usually get more expensive? i seen older gpus like gtx 900s be more expensive than the 1060s.

No, it will not get more expensive. If anything, price should go down. GPU prices rarely go up over time, except after they've been discontinued and stock is running out (i.e. 900 series cards now that 1000 series cards are out).

If anything the price of the cards should in fact drop.
But it depends on if a new line of cards or a new Gpu architecture is released.

The price shift or reduction of older lines of cards can often take a bit of time before before a price cut is seen on the sale of the cards.

It can be down to how many of the current line of cards are available at any one time.
For example say there is a large or surplus supply of a set graphics card model or range but it is a few months old ect.
The makers of the card will introduce a price drop to attract better sales of the model of card.
Vs the other branded company's that also produce the same card SnowMare.

But it can also work in reverse where if a line of cards has a limited availability the manufacturers can ask for more money for the card.

whens the best time to buy Graphic cards? a week before thanksgiving?
