Howzit guys,
Here is my current rig.
Motherboard: MAXIMUS VII FORMULA
CPU: i7 4790k
Cooler: Cooler Master Neptune 280 Closed loop Liquid Cooler
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 2133mhz
PSU: Cooler Master M2 Silent Pro 1000W PSU
GFX card: ASUS STRIX 980Ti
5 HDDs, 1 SSD
Problem:
I recently thought I had a problem with my power supply if you check out my other threads. Turns out my PSU is fine as I tested it with a PSU tester.
I got my PC to finally boot up but only after I pressed the Clr CMOS buttons on the back of my ROG board??
I have no idea what could be causing this but now every time I shut down my PC and try cold boot it makes me press that button (Little reset button kinda like the refresh page button on google chrome) and then my PC turns on.
I really hope this is not a faulty motherboard or hardware problem.
Let me also state that I have not updated or changed the bios since the board came out as i have seen no real need to and I am currently using the ASUS wizard inside the bios to configure the speeds etc of the CPU and RAM so no set hardcore overclocking going on here either.
I really have no idea what could be causing this or where to go from here.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
ROGUE
