Hi,

I've been miserable for a week now. Built my pc, spent like 3500$ and feels shit. Let me tell you the specs before I start off.

Processor - i7 6850k
Motherboard - Asus RAMPAGE v Edition 10
Graphic Card - MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X
RAM - Corsair dominator platinum 32GB 3200MZ
SSD - 500GB Samsung Evo 850
HDD - 2TB Seagate 6GB p/s
Monitor - Acer Predator XB241H
Power supply - Corsair HX1000i
Cooler - Corsair H110i
Case - Corsair 780T
Windows - Windows 10 PRO

Now the problems start.

1st. When I open my BIOS to set the DRAM frequency to 3200MHZ (cause its at default at 2133MHZ) and once I set it and reboot safely, As windows appears, I keep getting error and the system reboots by itself and enters BIOS. Now I'm running the DRAM at 3000MHZ. At 3000MHZ is runs just fine. I've checked everywhere and YES my mobo supports 3200MHZ.

2nd. When I game, like not even serious games. I play like Counter Strike GO and League of Legends shit. My pc keeps freezing. Every two minutes I keep getting a freeze of about 1-2 seconds.

3rd. I have already re-installed windows and updated all the drivers and everything, The two above problems still exist.

4th. I want to overclock the pc, please help me with this before I go the the retail shop from where I bought everything and throw the pc at them.

Thanks alot.

How am I even overclocking? I haven't exceeded the 3200MHZ at which it's supposed to run at default. And yes it freezes for 1-2 seconds at 3000MHZ as well as 2800MHZ which I tried earlier.

Temps are around 45-50 for the GPU, The usage is bare minimum for the GPU for god knows what reason. The CPU temp I don't know, I will have to tell you that tonight.

I will check that in the evening and tell you the status, but I highly doubt that it's loose.

Did you notice that 2 seconds freeze in any singleplayer game? If you did, unplug your network cable, restart and try that game again. Maybe there's stuff downloading and installing in background. Windows 10 is known for installing without asking for permission.

Unfortunately I don't play any single player game. I will download one of them today and test with it. I have a good internet speed, going on about 35 mbps. I will still check and let you know. Thanks
