Set up A = $950
i5 6500
MSI B150 Mortar
Gskill ripjaws 8gb (2x4gb)
WD Blue 1tb
Samsung 850 evo SSD 250gb
CM N200 Win
Seasonic s12II-520w
Sapphire RX 480

Set up B = $1025
i5 6600k
GA Z170 hd3p
Gskill ripjaws 8gb (2x4gb)
WD Blue 1tb
NZXT S340
Seasonic S12II-620w
Hyper 212x Cooler
Sapphire RX 480

I converted the numbers from PHP, but I just wanna ask if its worth squeezing out some more cash for the SET B? My budget is at $1000 but if given the chance i can try to extend it.

I am open for suggestion :) Thanks

Solution
Set B for sure. The ability to Overclock even if your not going to right now can extend the life of the PC.
When the 6500 no longer performs up to par it's time to rebuild. When the 6600K no longer performs you just overclock it up and keep using the PC.

both really good builds by the way so well done for that. I will offer an alternative its very close to your builds but offers slight differences, I prefer the GTX 1060 over the RX480 as I assume (maybe a bad assumption) that you will be gaming on a 1080p 60Mhz monitor? the difference between these 2 card are 1080p on Dx11 put the GTX 1060 as an average at about 10-15% fps higher than the RX480 and on DX12 the RX480 is only about 1-3% faster on average than the 1060 and as most games are DX11 these days ide go for the 1060 but feel free to change it to the RX480 if you wish.

Well kind to think of it, 3-5years more is better than rebuilding. Yes, I will be gaming on 1080. Thank you so much guys for the fast reply and thank you for the suggested build. Great idea! I'll try to add the SSD in the future. I'll try to keep a look out on sales for the GTX 1060. If possible i can pick both of you for the solution. Again thank you guys :)

Last question, is the seagate s12II 520w psu enough for i5 6600k oced + rx 480? how bout the i5 6600k oced + 1060?

Yes, it is enough buy with overclocking you're pushing it a little bit, maybe look at the S12II 620W or the XFX TS 650W. or as I did get the EVGA G2 650W all fantastic psu's at good prices :)
