I have an Asrock B75 Pro-3M Motherboard with an Intel i5 3570k processor which is currently reaching temperatures of 100 degrees celsius.
This is why i want to upgrade my CPU cooler and I want to go for the Scythe Mugen 4 PCGH (so I can also overclock in the future). This cooler seems a bit big and the CPU slot on this motherboard is fairly close to the RAM and PCI-E Slots (I have a MSI GeForce GTX 1070 which is also quite big).
I tried measuring to see if it will fit but I'm still unsure as the shape of the cooler is a bit odd. (Maybe I could move my ram to other slots so the CPU cooler can go over the RAM Slots? Does it matter which slots the RAM is in?)

Could anyone give me some advice on how to find out if it will fit?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think that motherboard has any overclocking features, at least that I am aware of. There is a video on youtube of a TX3 Evo being installed on that motherboard which is much narrower than the cooler you are looking at and it blocks the first ram slot as far as I can tell. So, unfortunately I doubt the Scythe would work out for you. When all else fails I recommend the Cryorig H7 for optimal compatibility when clearance issues are of a concern.

For if anyone ever wants to try this setup - I measured again and looked at some videos of the cooler and decided to buy the Scythe Mugen 4 PCGH and put it in my pc and it did fit. Theres very little room between my Graphics card and the Mugen 4, a few millimeters. But I'm getting very acceptable temperatures now at around 30-60 degrees.
