Hi, I am using Asus Strix GTX960 4GB and my monitor is just a 20" Asus with 1366x768 native and 60Hz. I am trying to use this DSR in NVIDIA control panel which allow me to play some of my games like NBA 2k16, CS GO and Dota 2 in 1932x1086 and it runs smoothly at steady 60FPS on high settings.

I don't really have a problem but I just want to know if the default DSR smoothness of 33% is just alright or should I adjust it? I just want to play in 1080p resolution from my native of 1366x768. what should be the correct DSR smoothness %? Thanks

I add FXAA in sometimes. My favorite combination for GTA5 is 4X DSR + FXAA on a 2560x1440 monitor for 5120x2880. I can't pull that off in Crysis 3 without my frame rate dropping into the 40s, even with 2 980TI's, so I just use 4X SMAA without DSR.

Well, technically, I also combine 8X MSAA with 4X DSR in my modded version of Quake 3 Arena because it's an 18 year old game that can run on a netbook. :)

You mean to say that higher DSR level (X2, X3, X4) should equal to lower DSR smoothness %?

Just on the 4X because it scales the resolution by exactly 2X on each axis. This gives a smoother image to start with before the smoothing filter is applied than the odd-ball ratios employed by the other settings.

You still use AA together with the 4X DSR? Also, can you tell me the specs of your monitor and to what resolution you downsampling it? It might be easier for me to understand if I have a guide or example. Thanks a lot
