How much thermal paste do i use and how often?

I´d say with every change of the CPU-Cooler or after a couple of years when you notice that the temperature is rising
Apply it in the size of a pea in the middle of the cpu and you´ll be fine
(No need to worry if its more than a pea because it wont affect cooling much, you just wont waste any thermal paste)
As long as the thermal paste is non conductive, try to rather apply more than too little :)
