Hello I recently just broke this cable for my headset so I'm trying to buy a new one. But I do not know what it is called. Does anyone know what it is called?
technically its a 4pole 3.5mm TRRS to 3pole 3.5mm TRS male to male adapter cable. it separates the combined mic/headphone signal on the 4pole side to separate signals on the twin cable 3pole side. otherwise called by names like headset adapter cables and similar when in different configurations. that particular one is male to male which is fairly uncommon (female to male is common). so it may be harder to find. i had a quick look around and was not getting any immediate results.
You need to specify the make and model of the headset or how would anyone know? Also, how are you replacing the cable, is it detachable, going to splice a new cable, or replacing the connectors at the end?

The cable is a 3.5mm jack that splits into a mic and audio jack for the motherboard
