Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Asus ROG Strix X99 Gaming, and the first thing I did when i powered my PC for the first time was to get into the BIOS. It was set to AHCI by default so I leave it like that. Then I install the OS and then Magician. in Magician it shows AHCI is deactivated.

Interesting.

That new motherboard + Win 10 should have absolutely no issues.

Are you sure that your plugged into the right sata port?
Many higher end boards have 2 sata controllers so you could have 1 adapter set to AHCI but not the one you have your SSD plugged into.

The X99 Strix has 2 Sata controllers. The first controls SATA 1,2,3,4 and 5 ports - it is set to AHCI, but supports IDE and RAID too. The second controller controls 6,7,8,9 and 10 ports. It is also set to AHCI, but it also supports IDE only so RAID is not supported on the 2nd controller. The SSD is connected to port 1 and the HDD - to port 3. Both should support AHCI without problems, but that's not the case here.
