Those are my specs and i was wondering if i'm pulling around 72 fps on FallOut4 on medium high would overclocking greatly improve performance and could it cause any harm to my pc what are my pros and cons and how would i go about doing this

Here is a back handed way to tell:
Limit your cpu, in windows power management, limit the maximum cpu% to something like 85%.
Go to control panel/power options/change plan settings/change advanced power settings/processor power management/maximum processor state/
This will simulate what a lack of cpu power will do.
Conversely what a 15% improvement in core speed might do.
If your FPS drops significantly, it is an indicator that your cpu is the limiting factor, and overclocking will help.

A "K" is designed to be overclocked.
I would give it a conservative overclock regardless.
