I'm guessing my HDD has just had it, but the SMART status says it's fine.

Everything is so slow to load. Booting, loading websites, loading applications. Takes minutes to do each thing!

This is a benchmark test I just did:

I've tried sfc, chkdsk, defragment, etc. I'm guessing there's nothing that will fix this?

I agree with boosted1g, with reservations.

CPU and Memory usage are likely a factor here. However, you're using more than 80% of your drive's capacity, this is known to cause the drive to slow down. If you are not willing to delete files and free up disk space, then please consider a second hard drive so that the boot drive will be under 75% use.

The thing is, I've been playing some games in steam, which will load into my RAM right? Once they've done so they're loading okay. But it's the initial loading up steam, loading the game etc
