Hey guys,
I just need some information whether I can use the gtx 1070 with my current build or if I have to get a completely different computer (selling this one and go back to square one).
I bought this computer for software editing at first but now I want to get into PC gaming, such as Overwatch, ark survival or even Star Citizen. Will the 1070 work with what I have, and if no, what needs to be changed etc. Thanks for any help you can give me.

CPU: AMD FX 8320E 3.2 non oc
GPU: gtx 960
motherboard: GIGABYTE GA‑78LMT‑USB3 6.0
power supply: Thermaltake Smart Standard 650W 80 PLUS Bronze ATX12V 2.3 Power Supply SP-650P
windows 10
8gb ddr4

Again this is a work computer mostly, let me know if you need more info about my system.

Thank you everyone!

Definitely. If you want a big upgrade just wait for the zen processors or the 7th gen core processors. It's definitely not the time to upgrade the cpu/motherboard. The gpu will work find and you will see an incredible improvement over the 960. The 1070 should Max out any game at 1080p if the cpu bottleneck isn't too bad.
Wait a few months then upgrade every thing if the fps starts passing you off.

Thank you everyone! I was hoping for this kind of answers! I'm off to buying it then. Any version of the gtx 1070 I should buy? Best buy has the nvidia Geforce.
