we've got a Debian box that won't allow installation of Windows due to the partitioning. Will it be possible to fit Windows on there somehow?

Can I delete the boot partition for the Debian install in order to allow the Windows install to work, and then go back and install GRUB?

Solution
WHen you boot Windows, you will have an option to delete all existing partitions, this includes Linux / Debian partitions. This in case you want Windows-only install.

Windows needs its own partitions, so if there are none (that is. all hard disk space is allocated for Debian), you will have to make some space available before you can try Windows install. If you have more than two partitions, installing Windows will be close to impossible.
