Will this memory work (Kingston DDR3 16GB 1866MHz (2x8) XMP HyperX Predator KIN) on this mobo (GA-990FXA-UD3 rev. 4.0)

this motherboard supports this frequency bit in the description of memory it says it is compatible with intel chipsets

cpu is fx 8120

The sticks should work with the mobo, Yes, many AMD mobos use the licensed tech from Intel for XMP, they got tiredof playing with DOCP, EOCP and AMDs own AMP OC profiles. With an 8120 might need a slight CPU OC and/or voltage adjustments - what's the actual model # of the Predators

i don't know what that means but I made my ram work on both frequencies, and the stick supports xmp too.
