Hi there, was wondering if you guys could help me out. How would I go about over clocking FX 6300 Gigabyte GA-78LMT? Is there a program you guys recommend I use or shoild i manually overclock it in the bios? Also how do I enter into bios when Im not able to press esc, because the keyboard is not recognized yet? Keyboard only lights up when in windows start up logo.
Thanks a bunch, Joe.

If you can't enter BIOS by tapping ESC, there is something wrong with the KB or the Win installation. Don't wait for the lite on the KB to come on before you start tapping. Start tapping the ESC key about twice/sec as soon as there is a display on the screen. Or even sooner.

If the KB is plugged into a USB3 port, try moving it to a USB2 port. The USB3 driver isn't loaded until in Win. And on that old board design, it probably doesn't have native USB3 support.

Once in BIOS, disable turbo mode and increase the CPU clock multiplier one click. Save and exit to Win. Stress test while watching temps. If good, repeat. When you reach an unstable result (if temps are still good), you can either back off a click and call it...

Increasing the voltage usually regains stability for further multi increasing.
Do all this in BIOS for best results.
