fx 6300 cpu fan speed

So just yesterday I overclocked my fx 6300 to 4.4ghz and I was running prime95 for a bit to see how stable it was. At 50c my fan speed revs up to 100% then when it hits 45c it slows down and then back to 50c fan is at 100%. i've tried turning cool n quiet off, and the cpu fan smart control off in the bios. I'm using easytuner 6 to control my fan speed. I've also closed that while running the test to no luck. I'm ok with it going over 50c so just wondering how to fix this problem. Also here is my motherboard. gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3

Considering the cooler you're using I'd say yes, this would be your safer ground.

That motherboard doesn't have very good power delivery systems, it's likely delivering unstable voltages to the CPU... Causing high CPU temps.

Are you using the stock cooler? If so, replace it immediately. Never overclock on a stock cooler.

Also, the FX 6300 thermal throttles around 55C, so 50C is too hot.

I'm using a hyper tx3 cpu cooler I had it at 4.1ghz with lower voltages and around 45c should I just revert to that?

Thanks for the quick replies got it running at 4.1 just finished running prime 95 for around 10 min and it stabilized at 46c
