unless you plan on giving the HDD to someone else there is no need to really wipe the drive. Just install windows from a DVD/USB drive, and then when you select the SSD erase all the partitions until it is one big unallocated drive. Then select it and hit next.

Just make sure the 1TB isn't plugged in when you install it.

then once windows is installed you can just plug your hard drive back in and do a simple right click and format it.

Hey there, @Ethan!

I'd follow @drtweak's advice and make sure you have the WD Blue unplugged while clean installing Windows onto the SSD. This will prevent the so-called OS confusion that occurs whenever you have multiple SATA devices connected to the motherboard at the time of the Windows installation. Once you have it up and running, you can re-format the WD Blue from Disk management as it was already mentioned.
I'd strongly recommend you backup all important data from the system somewhere off-site before you start tampering with the storage configuration. If you need some step-by-step guidelines, you can also refer to this Windows Install & Optimization guide for SSDs & HDDs.

Hope this helps you. Keep us posted if you encounter any issues! :)
