Everything is brand new except psu.
Specs: -Mobo: Gigabyte Z170X-GAMING 7
-CPU: Intel i7-6700k
-GPU: EVGA GTX 980
-HD: Samsung 1T ssd
-RAM: 4- 4g G. Skill 3866
-PSU: Rosewill 750w
-Fans: 6- 120
-Cooler Master Seidon 240M liquid cpu cooler
-1- Rosewill 250 or something like that(In front of case and dont think it matters for post)
So I get the error 55 from the mobo DB_port which according to the troubleshooting guide is a memory error. I have tried ram in every combo and even removed them with just cpu attached to get same error. (This was suggested by gigabyte tech. support and after they said that it was cpu) So I sent cpu back for replacement and did everything all over again with same error. So I sent mobo back and bought it again(Was sent without a shipping box, just the original mobo box and they didn't even tape it shut...Idiots XD... Box was pretty beat up but didn't seem like mobo was dmg or parts missing). So again I tried the above process again to get same error. Any suggestions would be great as their tech support is no help.
p.s. I didn't by straight from gigabyte but from third-party amazon dealer. (They had a high rating. Wonder if they send all their products that way.) Other forums I have found about this said they were only able to use 2400 ram or something like that.
