Currently I have as listed
-GTX 970 MSI
-MSI Z97-G45 Gaming MB
-Sniper G-Skill DDR3 Ram (16GB)
-1TB SSD (Samsung)
-i7 4790K (Water Cooled)

What should I do next?
-GPU Upgrade to GTX1080?
-New CPU?

All options would be apriceated. I want to be able to cut apart BF1 Like butter, so if you have any ideas of what I should do next please let me know!

GTX 1070, only if you want 4k gaming you need the GTX1080.

If you game at 1080p your GTX970 is still even good enough if you don't want to max everything out, if you do want to do this go GTX 1070.

You have really nice specs, i wouldn't upgrade anything except for graphics card maybe. the i7 4790K will be more than enough for the coming years and your GTX970 will laso be enough for 1080p gaming although not on max settings. In this computer build i would upgrade the GPU at least to a GTX1060.
