So i have used this pc for like 3 years( 8gb ram, geforce gtx 760 2gb physx, i5- 4440) and i mostly play csgo, and its been all good with good constant fps at like 120. However lately my fps have dropped to 30-40 fps, and i have no idea why? is it because its old componets or what? plz help.

thx -Kris

'old components' don't necessarily cause FPS drops overnight for no reason.
If you have a failing component, it certainly can.

How are your temps looking? A failing CPU fan could be causing your CPU to overheat/thermal throttle - but I'd actually expect worse FPS if that were the case.

Use a program such as HWMonitor to keep an eye on temperatures.

I'd fully remove your display drivers (use something like DDU to accomplish this) and reinstall your drivers from nVidia's site.

You may also want to run a health check on your HDD - head to the drive manufacturer;s site, download & run their health check utility.

As an FYI, at 3 years old, I'd start to think about reinstalling your OS and starting clean - updated drivers with no junk...
