Laptop with which CPU would you choose: i7-5500U or i5-6300HQ?

Question above. I'm buying new laptop and I found 2 but I can't decide between the two. One of them has i7 5500U CPU with nvidia 940m graphics card and 8GB of ram, the other one has i5 6300HQ and pretty similar GPU and RAM.

The laptop will be used for university purposes, sometimes autocad, but nothing too "specific".

Can you help me decide? Cheers

The Acer with the i5 6300HQ/950m combo is going to be a better performer than the ASUS with the i7-5500u/940m at all tasks, except the ASUS may have better battery life. You may need to shuffle things around more often on the Acer as it has a 128GB SSD+ 1TB, and the ASUS has a 256GB SSD+ 1TB HD. If it were money money, I would go with the Acer, no question. If you plan on doing any gaming with either one, you'll want to get Windows OS installed on it. Good luck to you!

Yes of course, here they are: Acer Aspire V5-591G and Asus F555LB-DM530D, I'm sorry for non english websites, but I didnt have time to search for english ones, hope you can work with that.
