hey,

i spilled water on my keyboard , turned it upside down, let the water run out and then left it to dry for 30 min. after that, i connected the keyboard back to my PC. all keys worked. then, 2 of them suddenly stopped working a little while after. so i disconnected it and let it rest again. all that was yesterday. today i tried it again and same thing happened. all keys working at first, then the same 2 stopped working. i then opened up the keyboard. turns out the bottom of that thing that holds all the keys was still a little wet. so i wiped it clean. reassembled it. now the same 2 keys did not work even for a little while (unlike before, as i said they worked for a very short time for 2 tries).

did i screw up by trying it out too soon? should i have let it rest/dry longer? is there still hope for the 2 keys? what does it mean that they worked after having the keyboard rest for a while but then stopped working again. did opening it up turn out to be the final nail in the coffin because after that the 2 keys did not work at all, not even for a little while? is all hope lost and should i buy a new one right away?

the LEDs beneath the 2 not functioning keys DO work. does this mean that a short curcit is less likely? what else could be the problem?

thanks, i hope questions like that are not frowned upon here.

btw its a logitech g710+

Solution
They keys are shorting out, I would not have much hope for fixing them.
Generally speaking waiting 30 minutes was far too little time. 24 Hours somewhere warm and dry would be a good idea.
