I never trusted the CX series before, and will not trust them now. Way too many problems with them.

These are the new CXM models with a new platform , they have added DC-DC converters for stability and reliability.
They are much better than HEC models from EVGA.

Probably because they have more confidence in the new CXM SERIES.
The Ripple on the EVGA is horrible , worse than 500B , and the fan they use is very poor and gets loud.

CX series had a 5 year warranty too. I'm sure a lot of people took advantage of that. Plus I haven't seen much praise for the new CXM series.

I don't recall the original CX having 5 years. The new CXM are very good units which, as Blackbird said, are so much better than the EVGA B and W1 units.

What do you need the more power for ? Which VGA card are you adding ? maybe you dont need to change the power at all, they exaggerate the power recommendation alot
R7 250 is only 75 watts GPU.
