ASUS GTX 750 TI Stock Overclock?

Hi there,

I am coming close to buying my first GPU, and was wandering if the ASUS GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC edition performs like a normal overclocked component, as in will I have to worry about over-heating, damaging the GPU and other components etc. And do all the specs get overclocked?

all the OC means is it is slightly overclocked out of the box, the core clock and mby the memory clock are changed. no worries about overheating, usually they do it because they can with the batter cooler on the non-reference. and yes, if you were to take a copy of the same cards, not OC'd, and were to overclock it to the same frequency, it would perform the same. and you can overclock a overclocked card more if you want.

Well it isnt that type of OC you are thinking which heats up the core and damages etc, they i mean ASUS just named it OC to tell that this card has slightly higher clocks than the reference card

The ASUS GTX 750 Ti OC 2 GB [GTX750TI-OC-2GD5] runs 4°C cooler than NVIDIA's own Reference Design GeForce GTX 750 Ti running at stock NVIDIA clock speeds.

ASUS is only running the GPU 52MHz faster on the base clock and 65MHz faster on the boost clock than the NVIDIA Reference Design GeForce GTX 750 Ti. The memory clock speed operates at the same speed as the reference design card.
