Hi, I went away for 2 weeks and my computer was working fine, came back switched it on and no display, tried a few things, swapped monitors etc and eventually took my hdmi cable out of the xfx r9 270s card and plugged it back into the integrated graphics and got my display back, looked in device manager and it no longer shows up my r9 270x,have tried reseating it a few times and in different slots but no joy,the fans on the card are spinning,im at a loss as it worked fine before i went on holiday and no one else has access to the machine so it seems very bizarre...hope someone can help.

Yes it would of been plugged to the wall outlet at the time I was away and I'm not sure if its disabled,it doesn't show up in my device manager so for all intents and purpose it's like it no longer exists, sorry I'm not really that technically minded when it comes to this kind of thing but any help is appreciated.

Next time you are away for some time, please make sure to unplug the pc from the power, as well as the ethernet jack if you use one, as it also can damage the pc in the event of a power surge. Have a good one.
