Cpu i5 vs gpu 970 upgrade

■ I'm looking to upgrade my pc to play new games . I currently use a i3 4330 with a evga gtx 760. My question is to upgrade the gpu to a 970 or the cpu to a i5 what will give me the better jump to run games such as bf4,bf1.

Well I'm looking towards either 250 for a cpu vs 350 for the gpu. I'm gon a upgrade both by the end of the year just trying to figure out what's the better option for now.

The 760 can maintain the same framerates, just with lower graphical settings. However, I'm leaning toward a GPU upgrade being better also.

For short term, the GPU is a better choice. On an i3, you'll get a decent graphic increase without too much of a bottleneck. However, come next video upgrade a better CPU (i5 or better) will be required as well to not have a bottleneck.

For long term, the CPU is the better choice as you more than likely will only need to replace the GPU for the next couple of graphic generations since performance jumps have been stagnant on the CPU generation front.
