convert RAW file of WD My Passport to NTFS file

My external hard drive, WD My Passport cannot be read. According to disk management it is RAW file. How to change RAW file to NTFS file without formatting?

You can't. Your computer isn't recognizing the file structure of the external hard drive.
Do you have that data backed up?

Testdisk could be used to scan for and potentially repair any filesystem problems preventing correct identification. However, as always, have a backup before beginning work. For this job I'd use ddrescue to do the imaging and then work only on the image.

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive.

I would totally agree with ex_bubblehead's suggestion.
Once you recover your data, I believe it may be a good idea to check if the drive is in a healthy state. You can do so with WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool (both short and extended tests): http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=gYAdqu
