Can't use Ethernet cable at all?

Up until today, I had a pre- built PC (Asus M11BB), but obviously it isn't good enough to stand up to having to actually play nice looking games. So I ordered a new graphics card (GeForce GTX 970) and power supply (Corsair CX550M). These both work well and as expected. I also use a TP-Link TL-PA4010 for my internet stuff (idk) like an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, since setting up my new stuff, I have been unable to access the use of my Ethernet (and the sound and audio on the front of the PC (not as important, really)). I'm not especially knowledgeable in the area of computers, but some searching around seems to indicate that maybe installing the new stuff has altered how these things work, or the drivers (again, not especially my area of expertise), but everything that I try to do to fix it doesn't seem to work, with my PC consistently saying all my drivers are up to date and that there isn't a problem, with neither Ethernet (or these other audio options) showing up anywhere I look.
So ultimately being confused with everything and not seeming to be able to fix the problem on my own accord, I'm now asking for any advice, help or suggestions, and any is greatly appreciated.
Thanks <3

So the common thing here is that you opened the system to install the card and power supply, now all of a sudden your ethernet and the audio is not working. That points to you either unhooking something by accident or damaging the motherboard while installing the new parts.

Test the system directly on the router, bypass the powerline connection, make sure it works fine outside of that. Did you check device manager to make sure the network and audio hardware is working?
