According to reviews, yes, but that depends on you. I would not sped more than maybe $30 for headphones, I have yet to find a set that I like so much over a good low budget set to spend more. What others have you tried? It also depends on what you listen to, if you listen to 128kb MP3 files, a higher end headphone won't do much for you. If you listen to 192kb MP3 files, maybe. If you listen to uncompressed FLAC files or something, maybe. If you listen to high end audio equipment (say a nice amp with a high quality record player or CD) then it may be worth getting a good headphone at that point.
