I built a new pc about a year ago
Here are the specs:
CPU: AMD FX8350
MOBO: gigabyte 990xa ud3 r5
GPU: gigabyte g1 r9 380 4gb
HDD: wd caviar blue
The PSU came with the case "called tiger, some chinese thingy cause i ran out of money", claims it's 500w, but it totally couldn't handle cooling my cpu during summer days, which led me to undercut my core usage to just 4 cores
I later bought an aftermarket cpu cooler cause I couldn't handle the noise during overnight windows updates, i got the coolermaster hyper 212 evo, and i still can't use the 8 cores for gaming, as my cpu would overheat, reaching 65 degrees, thus shutdown the system
I opened the case for cleaning yesterday, with low pressure air blower as usual and a nano fiber towel, i also changed the orientation of the cpu cooler and the thermal paste obviously
TL;DR now when i boot, no display, the gpu fans are pulsing and the "silent-stop" lights beside the windforce tag on the gpu blink every couple of seconds, unless I unplug the atx_12v, specially the 12v, jacks, the gpu lights are stable but still no display
