Can anyone tell me if this is a good idea? (COOLING)

Hello I was wondering which way of airflow I should have in my case. It's an ATX case with a 240mm radiator in the top.
Should I have fresh air getting through the CPU cooler into the case and also have another fan also getting air into it and only have 2 outtakes or should I have do it the opposite way to get air from the front to back and up into the CPU cooler.

I hope these pictures work. I've tried to draw an illustration of the 2 different ways.

This way or this way?

I'm wondering which way is the best for cooling.
This room is a pretty much dust free enviroment.

Thanks for any response.

Solution
The first way is better. Drawing air in from the top and trying to push it out the bottom is making the system work against physics (hot air rises).

I'd just try both. Which works best could vary depending on the fans, how your components are arranged, and where you position the thing...

Configure fans one way, run some benchmarking stuff for an hour and log temps. Then swap configuration and try again. Monitor room ambient temp too if possible - I always used to find it was entirely linear, with a 1 degree higher room temp leading to a 1 degree higher CPU temp.

Or just don't worry about it unless the temps are excessive now :)
