Geforce GTX 1060 gives code B2 after i installed it in my msi motherboard!

my motherboard is a MSI OC Genie ll and my previous gpu was a msi twin frozr 3
my pc wont boot because when i have the 1060 in my pc it says B2 in the bottom right corner. PLEASE HELP ME!

Sounds like a bios update is needed for the GPU and/or the motherboard. What's your mobo?

I was sad too. Because i worked for the money to buy it. Then waited 12 days till the 1060 was here and then i plugged it in. It said b2 and i spend over 8 hours to figuren it out

Yeah the one thing about build computers is that when you boot it up, you're basically crossing your fingers that everything works right. And that doesn't always happen. But that doesn't always happen so that's why we have this forum. Now you'll probably be able to help someone else who has the same issue you did.
