Im giving my old Athlon II X2 245, 4GB RAM , 400W PSU pc to a friend.
He wants cheap GPU to play newer games. His monitor max resolution: 1280x1024
Im deciding between
gt730 gddr5,
gtx750 gddr5,
r7 250 gddr5

How much noticable is CPU bottleneck on these cards? is it worth to buy almost 2x more expensive gtx750?

Thanks!

Solution
That processor will bottleneck badly whatever you use.
GTX 750 will do fine
you may want to bump that proc up to an Athlon IIx4 620

or better (Phenom 920)

to notice any real difference
I was running an Athlon IIx2 235e and replaced it with an Athlon IIx4 605e and it made quite a difference
along with a new GPU I felt I had a new machine. It was drastically improved
(My board could only handle 95w, so I had to go with the 'e' series)
