Help with mobo selection

What are some good/popular + cheap picks for mobo's to go with a i5-6500? I don't plan on doing anything intensive (no OC of any sort, no SLI/crossfire, etc).

Was originally going with the Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI, but I think it has more than what I need. Looking for a (cheaper) alternative.

Thanks. I don't think I'm going to upgrade to a K later on. If I did, it'll be in a couple of years, which means I'll probably just go with the newer generation cards anyway. Do you have any suggestions for other good non z170 boards in light of this logic?
