Will AMD cards have bad performance in PhysX based games?

there is so much competition between newly released Nvidia and AMD GPUs. As i know PhysX technology is not supported by AMD GPUs. will this effect to gaming. will AMD cards still be able to deliver good natural physics without PhysX.

to this date gpu accelerated physics only offer more visual effect. they did not offer anything that can change hoe the game will be played. and sometimes they just add excessive effect that instead of giving better visual they only make it harder for you to see important things in games.

AMD cards will be able to play the games with "GPU Accelerated PhysX". Normal PhysX based games do all the PhysX on the CPU and it doesn't matter. When there are GPU accelerated features, then you can use those on Nvidia cards. Those features are usually just special effects and have no real value to the game, other than to look neat. Even with an Nvidia card, these features are often not worth using, with a few exceptions, like Batman AA.
