hello, i recently got back from holiday and when i started the pc the gpu worked for a few minutes then some black squares appeared on the the screen and the display went black even though the pc was working.i tried reconnecting the gpu,switching the pci slot and changing ram but it doesnt display even though the fans are running.a few hours after unplugging the pc and plugging it back in the gpu displayed for 5 seconds and it stopped working.the igpu works fine.
is the gpu dead?
if its dead,is the rx 470 or r9 380x a good replacement?
