I recently bought an extra 16GB of RAM (2 8GB sticks) to put in my machine with the current 8GB's I had (2 4GB sticks) upon installing them my BIOS shows the full 24GB's is there but windows shows that 12.1GBs is hardware reserved, I've ran Memtest86 which came up fine with no errors, I've also checked my CPU and there is no bent pins, I currently have them installed as |8|4|8|4 and i have tried various configurations such as |8|8|4|4 but these stop my PC from booting as if there is no signal from the Graphics card, MSConfigs Max memory is also unticked, The sticks are all the same make - Hyper X fury plus same timings on each one, My current specs are;
Motherbord - MSI 970 Gaming
CPU - AMD 8350
GPU - MSI Geforce 1070
PSU - Corsair 750W
OS - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Any help would be appreciated but it'll take me a while to reply as I'm just heading off for work,
